Lumina respects intellectual property rights. This policy describes how to submit a copyright takedown request under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), and how creators can respond with a counter-notice.
If you believe content on Lumina infringes your copyright, send a written notice to:

Subject line: DMCA Takedown — [Film Title or Description]
Your notice must include all of the following (required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• A description of the infringing content and where it appears on Lumina (URL or film title)
• Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature
AI-generated content presents novel copyright questions. Under current U.S. law, purely AI-generated works with no human creative authorship may not be protected by copyright. If you are filing a claim involving AI-generated material, please clearly identify the human-authored elements you believe have been infringed.
We will evaluate each claim on its merits and respond accordingly.
Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA notice, Lumina will:
• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content promptly
• Notify the uploader that their content has been removed
• Provide the uploader with a copy of the notice (with your personal contact info redacted where possible)
We aim to act on valid notices within 2 business days.
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address with:
• Your name, address, phone number, and email
• Identification of the removed content and its location before removal
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
• Your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your district
• Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
Lumina maintains a repeat-infringer policy. Accounts with multiple confirmed copyright violations will be suspended or permanently terminated.
