The curtain rises…
Effective 1 January 2025 — Lumina (“we”, “our”, “us”)
Lumina collects information you provide directly, such as your display name, email address, and any films or content you upload. We also collect usage data — screens visited, films watched, and interactions — to improve the experience.
We use your information to operate and personalize Lumina, process tips and creator payments, send important account notifications, and improve our platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Films, Director’s Commentary, and profile content you upload are stored securely. You retain ownership of your original creative work. By uploading to Lumina, you grant us a license to display and distribute your content within the platform.
Lumina uses Firebase (authentication and storage), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), and Expo (push notifications). We encourage you to review each provider’s privacy policy.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Lumina is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us through the Help & Support section in your Profile settings.
